i totally agree and would suggest if you want to display your love with your gay partner to do that ONLY in private...such activity isnt acceptable in a conservative country like tunisia.
i also agree about western tourists, when i was there last time a whole group of british guys were walking the streets of monastir without a shirt (just shorts) and my hubby just looked and said to me - no tunisian would do that. :-)
