Hi
Hi,
The first thing you need to think about is that you have to have a work permit to legally work in Tunisia, you or the company you will work for have to apply for this at the Embassy, unfortunately this is extremely hard to get, the Embassy see it that if a Tunisian can do it then why employ someone else when Tunisias level of unemployment is extremely high - however it is not impossible if you can find the right company to work for.
If you are wanting to continue to work as a nurse, your best option is to search on the internet for hospitals, private clinics in Sousse and there are plenty, you have Les Clinic Olivier, Corniche, Essalem etc etc that have English speaking nurses etc, email them to see if they can help. There are also private cosmetic surgeries in Tunisia that often need English speaking help, such as the clinic in La Marsa.
There are opportunities there but you really have to work hard to get the information and find someone that will employ you legally, although its easy to be tempted to take an offer without a work permit, its illegal and can land you in an unhealthy position (talking from experience in Sousse!!)
Good luck, but do as much research first! also take a look at the British Embassy site who can give you more info.
