Hi
Hi,
So Nicola, you used your normal birth certificate not a recent one? I know that the Embassy tell you now to have a birth certificate that is dated within 21 days and like Kris said his was needed with a much shorter date than that.
I must say it is very confusing when so many people tell you different things, I definately think the best thing is to go to your local municipality or get your hubby 2 be too, just to make sure. My wedding takes place on the 17th May 2008 inshallah and its taking so much planning as its such a big do were holding in fact too much planning!! Were getting married in a venue with the registrar attending the venue for the signing of the contract when I went to the Embassy last month they did stress the birth certificate being dated within 21 days. Its definately a worry when you have all the family flying over for the 'big day' and were mixing the two traditions (seemed an easy thing to plan at first) - I hate to think of my father walking me down the aisle on the day and then it not going ahead because of the do***ents eeeks!
I dont suppose any one knows the prices of cars to rent for the wedding, Im really being spoilt for my wedding day and now theres a big discussion over renting limousines or mercedes, you think it would be easy for me to arrange living here but it really isnt, Kris how did you do it hahaha!! I've got most things from my wedding dress, the rings to the venue and caterer all paid for but these little things are doing my head in!!
