Red Lizard Train - Lezard Rouge
Well worth a trip if you are down south, is the Lezard Rouge train. It starts at Metlaoui (about 40kms from Tozeur) and the train line follows an old mining track to a working phosphate mine. The train is like something out of the old wild west and the landscape is spectacular - I was half expecting to see some cowboys & indians!! Trip last about 45 minutes. Will try to upload some of my pix tomorrow.
