Default Los Angeles of Africa :)

Hi All,

Hammamet has been always one of the biggest touristic cities in Tunisia, lovely beaches, kind people, cool weather, not as hot as in the south of the country and no cold ... just lovely, now almost 5 years ago and within the development workframe the country is working on for many years, the Tunisian goverment in its projet to build the new modern Tunisia, which is a big project we in fact started since the independance, and more since we got the new President Ben Ali, the goverment decided to build a whole new city in the south of Hammamet, also touristic, called " Jasmine Hammamet", the first time i've been there was 3 years ago, i just wanted to drive through the new city to discover it ... i really was surprised and i felt seriously proud and happy to see a such wanderfull, well built and organised city, in one point i though for a while i'm driving throughLos Angeles and theni thought no this's the platonic "utopian" city ... huge modern hotels everywhere, a real paradise on the earth, honestly i still never stayed in the Jasmine Hammamet but i'm planing to do it soon ... because i heared a lot of stories from friends that the night in Jasmine Hammamet is wonderfull... and in fact it's closed to Tunis and to Sousse ... it's about an hour or so driving from Sousse ...

I do believe that Jasmine Hammamet it's just a new proof for the big steps Tunisia , as an african and third world country is doing to join the modern world, and that's something that let me choose all the time Tunisia as my favorite destination, everytime i pack my suitcase to fly to Tunisia, i wonder what's new in that country, since the end of the 80ties ... i'm watching Tunisia as a new born baby growing up day after day and month after month to surprise not only the other Arabic and African country but also the whole world ... i would also like to thank everybody who's working hard to move on Tunisia, to a new, modern capitol in Africa ...

Go to Hammamet it's very nice and lovely , you will never ever regret to visit it

Cheers
Makrem
