Standards are much lower than the UK so if for a holiday someone like the tunisian house of simply tunisian villas will make sure the standard is up there.
Even in nice areas always look at the decor as people are not afraid to charge a high price for unfinished houses infact it is common for people to try and rent 80% finished houses with the idea that the tennant is going to pay for the paint etc lol!
