Ramadan Karim to eveyone
Just have to say, congrats to you and your wife, Kris for such a great site...I too can't belive I didn't find it sooner....just stumbled upon it while looking for Tunisan Ramadan recepies.
I'm an Australian, married to a Tunisian man, living here in Sunny Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where we met 7 years ago...now there's a story to tell !
But for now, I'm glad found this site.....Ramadan is now a time I look forward to rather than dread...one thing about Ramadan in Saudi is that our working hours are less, all the restaurants are closed until just before the ifthar prayer and smoking, drinking and eating is prohibited in public.......makes fasting much easier !
Although I have not converted, I usually fast each Ramadan, except when I was pregnant......but can't say that it get's easier each year...especially while the temperature here is still around 38 degrees....thirst is what I struggle with the most !
This year my "nanny/home helper" is away for the next 3 weeks, so all the cooking & cleaning is left for me and my sister inlaw

...shorba...brik...macarona...cous cous...slata mishwaya.....home made hobes every night.........*sigh*.......1 week down, 3 weeks to go !
