The wonderful, mountainous village of Zraoua in Gabes, south Tunisia, is to feature in an international movie.
Entitled The Coronation of Man, the film is a blend of fiction and fact, as it charts the history of man up to the modern day.
The movie is being produced in partnership by two of France's main television channels, a major French production company and world-famous producer Jacques Malaterre.
A number of Tunisian actors and technicians are working on the movie, and the French filmmakers have spoken of their admiration for the work they are doing.
"This talented Tunisian team makes me want to return to Tunisia," said Mr Malaterre.
"It is this very rich human potential that had determined the choice of Tunisia in the first place," he added.
Shooting began in October this year with many Tunisian regions, such as Bizerte, Monastir and Douz, being used.
Tunisia is often used as a dramatic backdrop for blockbuster movies, with parts of Star Wars being filmed in Matmata and scenes from The English Patient also shot in the south.
