Popular Canadian-French author Nancy Huston is set to attend a series of conferences in Tunis.
Ms Huston received an invitation from the French Cooperation Institute in Tunis and will host a number of talks, presentations and lectures.
It is reported in the French Language daily newspaper, Le Renouveau, that the author will be visiting universities and bookshops throughout Tunisia.
Ms Huston is well respected in her field, having recently been awarded the prestigious French Prix Femina award.
She was acknowledged for her novel Lignes de Faille (Faultlines) and is recognised as one of the world's leading writers of fiction.
