Default Malta-Tunisia: a story of close relationship

During a reception held by Tunisia's ambassador in Valetta Mohamed Ali Ganzoui, on the celebration of the 52nd anniversary of Independence the Malta's president Edward Fenech Adami highly praised the whole progress experienced by Tunisia in all fields, thanks to the sound policy and approaching vision of president Zine el Abidine Ben Ali.

the Maltese president also reiterated his country's readiness to encourage Maltese businessmen to invest in Tunisia, so as to serve mutual interests.
He also pointed out to the political stability and social security prevailing in Tunisia, as well its solid infrastructure and the diversity of investment opportunities it offers to foreign investors which earned it consideration on the international scene.

He also praised the relations of friendship and fruitful co-operation between Tunisia and Malta, and particularly the dynamics witnessed constantly by economic, tourist and cultural co-operation after the state visits paid by president Zine el Abidine Ben Ali to Malta, stressing the importance of the forthcoming bilateral events in strengthening the ties of friendship binding the Tunisian and Maltese peoples

Hi, was in Malta two weeks ago not having been there for many years. I was surprised that I recognised so much of the language as it's based on Arabic, Italian, French and Latin. Arabic words like halib, imshee, marhaba, bon jour, bon soir, ciao - a real mix making it fairly easy to follow. Beautiful island!
