- One of the main Italian leasing bank, “Banca Agrileasing” has founded a branch in Tunis . The office was inaugurated on Thursday by Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia , Mr Taoufik Baccar and Italy 's Ambassador in Tunis , Mr Antonio D'Andria.

Mrs. Mariella Liverani, the director of the Tunisia office “Agrileasing” said the opening of this office is a first step on the path to extend the Italian “Cooperative Credit ” in the Mediterranean . “Tunisia is close to Italy geographically and culturally and plays the role of a natural hub allowing Italy to conquer North African markets such Libya, Algeria as well as Egypt”, she added.

“Agrileasing” which is a component of Italy 's “Cooperative Credit” aims at identifying the best technics to enhance the function of Italian small and medium-sized enterprises.

In this regard, Mr. Bacccar said that new branch will give further commitment to Tunisian-Italian co-operation relations.
