- The Tunisian Association Woman''and''science launched on Sunday its website, in conjunction with the work of its third scientific session entitled :''Women, Science and Development'', which was held on 1 and 2 March in Tunis.
The site of the association is a portal which highlights the progress made by Tunisian women in the field of science and technology.
Developed by Ghnima Sana, an engineer and president of "SanabelMed", the site will highlight the scientific and technological research carried out by Tunisian women to know better their actual contribution in this field and to encourage students' oriented courses in science and technology.
Mrs. Sarra Kanoun-Jarraya, Minister of Women, Family, Children and the Elderly, noted that the association's website will not fail to make known the skills of Tunisian women, create Thus, opportunities for the exchange of experiences and expertise between Tunisia and other countries, and develop a network of database among women of the world in science.
At this occasion, the Minister honoured young researchers who have conducted research of high quality in many scientific fields.
