- Shaun Donnelly, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Europe and the Middle East, is due to a working visit in Tunisia to attend the third session of the Tunisian-American joint council for trade and investment.
American and Tunisian officials expressed their satisfaction and commitment to promote partnership between the two countries.
Investment, access to markets, intellectual property and utilization of new technologies to develop trade cooperation and improve bilateral exchanges were the main items of the meeting agenda.
The American official voiced faith in the future of bilateral exchanges and joint investments. The meeting was attended by development and international cooperation minister Mohamed Nouri Jouini and the US ambassador in Tunis.
