Hi Bigbrother,

Thanks for the links, however I have tried to have a nose at them and 4 of them I can not access? just says there is an error when you click the link. The yahoo one is for America, have you seen recent job adverts on these sites for Tunisia, as I would love to have a look there are so many in the village here not working and I always refer them to www.emploi.nat.tn which is the equivalent to our Job Centre online.

Thanks I will take a look at the links again. I'm extremely lucky as I actually work though it took me a very long time to find my job but Im not employed by a tunisian company and just count my blessings that I can live in Tunisia and actually work and have a great income, when there are so many looking for jobs, I spent well over 8 months here in Tunisia job hunting only to find that they wanted arabic or french language, I dont speak either enough to get work, then theres the work permit!! The only problem I find with these websites that offer jobs is they never get back to you! but for anyone else out there thinking about moving over its good to have some idea of what is available.

Thanks! I don’t know what type of work I’ll end up doing when we eventually move to Tunisia, not sure if I’ll be lucky enough to get an admin job as I don’t have French or Arabic either – started an Arabic course but failed to commit time to it!! I’m hoping by the time I arrive into Tunisia there’ll be more British type companies opening up businesses and the lack of language won’t be a hindrance. If not admin then I’m sure I can put my hand to something, but will definitely research from here beforehand all the possibilities.

From your experience living in Tunis, do you know of any British/expats working in the commerce industry? Having said that one of the reasons I want to get away from London would be to get about from the corporate banking world rat race …
