Not Tunisia related, but a good site, haven’t managed to take advantage of this site yet, but will. I’ve got loads to bits and pieces to get rid off.

Hi Bigbrother,

What a fantadtic idea freecycle for all the needy............
Im so so sure that it would be so appreciated by the needy as things are so hard to come by sometimes, and i'm not religious but i do believe in god and i have always told my kids that you they should alway's share.
This is how i picture all this being done, it really is not hard but you just need a bit of time, transport and also live in Tunisia.
Example:say there was an office and bigbrother was in charge, she would have a book containing peoples names,addresses and their household needs.........I ring up and offer my chair as i no longer require this in my home, bigbrother then contacts the next person on the list who needs a chair and then bigbrother arranges the collection and delivery........... if that was on offer they would all have something.
I once knew someone ,who had no furniture, apart from a mattress and i know that this type of thing ,would of been a godsend to him,god rest his soul.

Good idea Roulla, when I found out about freecycle, I did look up Tunisia, knew they probably wouldn't have something like this set up - not yet! but they have in other African countries which is step in the right direction. Me and my husband talked about your idea yesterday. They may have something similar set up already for all I know, not sure yet.

I've got a couple of things to give away, just making sure they are in good enough condition before I do. I normally give to the local hospice charities near home. I bought a small tv and freebox about 3 months ago from http://www.gumtree.com/ for £30.00 - the freebox was free!!! - couldn't believe the price when I saw it, emailed the person to find out what kind of condition it was in! He said it was excellent and true to his word it is! There are some good quality cheap or free things out there.

Wow could you imagine if this kind of thing was available that would be superb, these poor people really could do with a scheme like this.
I wonder if there is a simular scheme that we dont know about.
