Roulla sorry to contrary you on this one but you need to know that number 7 has always been a key number not only cos of the 7th november but for some religous reasons like for example in Islam there are 7 heavens...

Thank you everyone - maybe I will ask him which is his favourite player and then find out their number. Or maybe I will just go for number 7 as its my favourite number! What is the significance of November 7th? Sorry if I'm being ignorant but I'm only just learning about Tunisia etc!

Well 7th november 1987 is the day Ben Ali became president of Tunisia and the symbol of his political Parti le "Renouveau". It's a bank holiday.

As the topic of football tops has arisen I have to share my 'near miss'. Please bear in mind I am NOT a football follower!! I was getting a football shirt for my beloved for his birthday. I asked him what name and number he wanted on it. Off I toddled to the sports shop and promptly asked them to put 'no.11 Shirac' on it, I was then given a few strange looks and asked again who I meant, unable to explain I phoned my best friend who is a sports fanatic and told her!! After she had finished laughing hysterically as I said I was sure it was Jacques Shirac he wanted on it, she said but He's the president of france, well I knew the name seemed familiar,by this time I was so red, everyone in the shop was hysterical and I had to phone H and ask him to text me the right name.
I have never lived this down, so beware and make sure you get the right info. Good job I saw the funny side and at least everyone had a laugh.
