Meetup in Tunis

Hi All,

You may have seen our member lizmcp who opened an expat meet up at : The Tunis Expat Meetup Group (Tunis) - Meetup.com

I met with Liz tonight for a coffee and she is so great and we are planning another meet up next week and a night out to an Indian restaurant in Tunis. For any one that is an expat here in Tunisia then would be great to see some more faces join and pass on the details of Liz's meetup page.

Hi All,

Just to update as Liz is hoping more faces will appear with her meetup group - Liz has now posted the event for Thursday's night out to the Indian in the calender of events and provided all the details.

For anyone that just visit's Tunisia regluarly feel free to watch out for the calender of events and come along as well as any that are living here.

Hi All,

I will keep bumping this up and adding the meet-ups as there must be some more expats living here in Tunis other than myself and Liz

Just to update myself and my fiance went to Liz's gorgeous apartment last night to start our night with a few drinks and snacks, then when we finally decided to move we headed for the Indian as planned in Berge du Lac and had a great night and a great feast.

I understand you so much also got this kind of cravings sometimes though Irish stew and fish&chips are tasty still miss vegs!!!

Thank you, yes I get some terrible cravings especially for food! we went last night to the Indian in Berge Du Lac, but when we were living in Sousse we always went to the Seville Indian Restaurant which is just amazing - the chef lived in Brighton, UK for many years and still has a restaurant there and so his cooking is just spot on and in fact tastier so I would definately recommend anyone in the Sousse area to try this Indian restaurant you really cant beat it (last nights meal was nice but not as nice as Sousse's Indian hehe sorry Liz).

The next meetup is set for January and I know there will be at least 1 or 2 a month for the next 8 months whilst Liz is living here if we can get a few more faces appearing it will be fab to then keep it going when Liz leaves me!!!

Toonsia would be great if you have a chance to come to Tunisia in spring and meetup xxx

As you know i am in Tunisia in January and would like to change the sencery a bit rather than just sousse so keep us updated as i would like to meet up with you and others inch'allah' on the 3rd Jan, if you can let me know or all ofus know when u decide were the meet up is going to be that would be great!

Just to confirm that the 3rd of January has been changed as Liz will be away on this date.

The New Year Meetup has been arranged for the 11th January at 7.00 pm - the place is the Biwa Cafe, Berge Du Lac - just behind the Golden Bowling.
