What is the best shopping place in Tunisia where one can find everything related to Tunisian culture.

hmm if you mean handicrafts then den den is the nicest place I have been we even sell products on this site from the folks there. http://souk.tunisia.com.

I think it is a tx free artisan community and thus the prices there are cheaper than the souk itself in many cases either way the guys there are elite and their products great.

Hi Ammulu,


Hope that you are in good health ! If its pottery that you are after then Nabeul sells the best pottery and is well known for this and they are also known for leather.
Nabeul also sells sculptures and you can even watch them whilst they are making them.
kairouan is best for rugs, really nice carpets.
Tunis has a nice shopping centre for clothes and so does La marsa and if its spices that you are looking for well that you can get from anywhere in Tunisia.

I was mainly looking out for some good sculptures and nice clothes. Thanks for sharing the info friends. http://souk.tunisia.com/ really seems the one I was looking out for.
