Default Studying in Tunisia?

What is the education levels in Tunisia? Is it restricted as in some countries where women are not allowed to go to school? How far can a child pursue his studies?

That really seem to be good to know how much importance is education given in Tunisia. I wasn't sure about how far can a woman pursue her studies. I know one of my classmate who is a topper in Biochemistry in the whole University and wanted to pursue her further studies with PhD but her in-laws didn't allow it to happen and she was mentally affected and finally within 3 mths of marriage she visited a Psychiatrist and finally got divorced. Now she is happy to continue her studies and has a wonderful boyfriend.

Hi Ammulu, thats good news at least your friend got out of it before it was too late, My sister in law has a daughter and son and she is planning to have her daughter go university when she is old enough that is and study to be a doctor as she keeps telling her she wants to be one :-), Also my husbands friends are at university and they all have female students who help them get by without their mums lol (cooking them food etc)

Thats really good. The world is changed so much but it is hard to see some places where still people are not well educated and are residing with some old weird behaviors. Some prefer changes and welcome them for a better future.
