I've flew to Tunis a few times but think that Monastir is handier for Sousse. Again all depends on flight times as I have had 7am flights back to gatwick before which means being at the airport between 5 and 6. Not too bad as we can stay with his family in Ben Arous but would be a killer from Sousse for me - I am sooo not a morning person. If you get good flight times then I don't mind it at all. I probably hate it more as have to connect again to Glasgow at London but Monastir I can get a direct charter. Tunis gives more choice in day of the week to go on from certain destinations though (like Glasgow)

this end is always a problem for me, I'd prefer to fly from Luton, or at a push Heathrow.. But Gatwick is just too far. SO to find a flight that goes from Luton, or Heathrow on the days I want, withuut any of those stop overs appears to be so hard to find, that's why when I do find one, I don't mind the travelling the other side, because by then i'll be with my man, where the travelling this side (UK) means travelling alone

Hi Feefad, First Choice are starting their Wednesday flights from Glasgow. I've managed to book up 17 days (Out Sunday back on a Wednesday - and it returns at 2.45 or so in the afternoon!) for £144 - last time I booked for a week and paid £317!!

Thanks Essem, I'll keep an eye on them for the future. We're booked up to go to Hammemet at end of June but booked package holiday as going with my folks so same old Sunday flights when we booked £144 is fab, maybe have a look for later in the year for himself to go home.
