Please Chose Carefully

Just back from Port El Kantaoui, and feel I have to let people know that when travelling to Tunisia Please find any reviews of the hotel you are going to book before you commit yourself. Use a large site like the holidaywatchdog site and research your chosen hotel, I know what is good for one is not good for all but you will get a rough idea from the reviews.
We were very lucky and our hotel was fabulous in every way but many people were having to be moved to ours from their own as they were so bad. Lots of bad reports about food poisoning, flies in food, uncaring staff,dirty accomodation. So please, please arm yourself with knowledge and review BEFORE you book.

Yes we also have lots of reviews in the hotel section of this site also. You should always do as much research as you can and when you come back place you reviews on sites such as Tunisia.com and holidaywatchdog that way the best get rewarded and those not pulling their wieght have to improve.

Tunisia needs to ensure that its facilites and hotels are top of the game so constructive critique is invaluable.

I have been extremely lucky with hotels, Royal Salem Sousse, Marhaba Palace Kantaoui and the not quite so luxurious Foratti Hammamet. I have also rented a very reasonable apartment in Hammon Sousse which was adequately comfortable. Im hoping my next visit in September is equally as enjoyable.
