Hi. Could anyone tell me if its ok to travel from the airport to the hotel with 3 quarter length trousers and a t shirt top? I understand its a muslim country but dont know how strict they are on dress code?
In Tunisia it is more of a problem of looking ***y and getting whistled at ie in a tourist area you see it all including people shopping in swimming costumes lol but in souks and town centres you would feel naked and boys would stay at you like an alien spaceship.
For example to my wife there is this invisible barrier that is like a wall between the beach and the promenade/pool and the hotel where on the one side she wairs a bikini and the other she wears 3/4 shorts and t -shirt.
Its a randy boy rather than religious thing for her.
Its fine wot u wear frm the airport but i think they dont take as much notice of the tourists as we all dress down if u know wot i mean but obviously u do need 2 respect their culture & mayb cover up in the towns, souks, medinas....
Ive seen some people walking around in bikini tops.

Not a problem. We've been entering Tunisia 4 over 20 years.
