Kelly - you say that you'll plan to have children later. That's a good decision especially when you are adjusting to a new place, and being married. Once the family is started you'll need to put some roots down somewhere. You don't sound like the type to put them in a backpack. Ha !

hi this is going back to the actual subject, i have just returned to england and the day before i came home i tried to withdraw 70 dinar and the bank would not gic it me, now i no there was money in there so i tried my second account stil no money so i went into the bank and told the lady behind the counter, she did not understand me so i wrote on my phone the error messaged displayed and she shrugged her shoulders. i was like how bloody rude.

anyway on my return i looked on internet banking and to my surprise the 70 dinar i wanted out had turned into 700 dinar out of both accounts and i didnt get a dinar of it.

it is underinvestigation at the moment but its taking a long time to do it and im over my overdraft now. they had better not charge me.

just thought i would tell you my little story. it was in barraket essahel at the biat bank. never ad problems there until this time iv gone cus it happened couple of weeks previous saying 30 dinar went out, i got that money back but i suppose with it adding up to 1400 dinar they got to investigate it.

BE VERY CAREFUL

Default Hi

Hi Becki,

Had the same thing happen in Sousse though not for that amount!

I hope you can get the money back, I had to get the receipt from the bank I used here which I did and it actually showed that there was an error with the cashpoint and the time and so I would have been entitled to my money back only prob was I needed to deal with that at my bank in England which obviously I couldnt get too lol!

Good luck hun, I panic everytime I put my card into a cashpoint now after the bank telling me that my UK bank would be the people to sort it out - not ideal when I visit England rarely.

xxx

hello all nothing to do with atm but have just followed your stories on Tunisia, I went over in 2003 met my partner fell in love with him and Tunisia, came back to UK split from my husband of twenty eight years moved to live in Sousee stayed about six months from November to June working as transfer rep, my mother was taken ill in UK could not think of anything else but to get back to her, our apartment that was furnished seemed to not matter and my partner thought would be back after two weeks I did not go back and he moved back to his home feeling rejected and hurt. Emotions are funny things by the August I was missing him so bad but as he said you can not go back and yes we love each other but to go on he wants to come here now because he believes Iwould never settle again there. I miss Tunisia life and have since moved by myself to Ireland where I hope we will both settle together because at the end of the day if you are with the person you really love it does not matter what country you are in, sorry if that sounds a cliche and hope this does not read as an epilogue. I lived all those years and it took me to Tunisia to find the part of myself that was missing

You could write books and I would read them. What a story you have, though. I would be afraid of leaving everything I know. You're moving to Ireland. The pictures I've seen are beautiful. What you're saying is that "Love is a gift that you can't turn away from."

You are going to visit Ireland for the summer. That sounds very exciting! My neighbor, Mrs. Minor, just visit there. She brought me and my daughters some Irish copper coins.
