Great Journey Phil,

I long for the day I see a UK number plate on the road in Tunisia.

Also great that you have a place in Tunisia which makes you rare sight I would have thought outside the usual tourist areas.

What brought you to come to Tunisia was is simply a trip or do you have other connections?

Our Tunisian connection is that my wife's sister married a Tunisian while working in the gulf. This made our introduction to Tunisia much easier, with lots of his family and friends around!

My wife is out there at the moment, I'm working in the UK as an IT Contractor- the plan is to earn UK money and then spend a couple of months a year soaking up the Tunisian sunshine

That sounds like a great plan mate. You can't beat a nice holiday in the sun.

I tried the links but I couldn't get to them. I wish I could see your pictures because your trip must have been wonderful. You make a great decision about where to spend your time. Make some good money and spend the rest of the year relaxing. It's sounds that the families are getting along well. That is very important.
