That's good to know that you can't buy it at the airport. When I visited Madras, India there airport was smaller. You had to get things in other places.

Probably makes no difference for some people but just to let you know as for me personally I only now use my Tunisian sim card as I live here and just saves the hassle of changing numbers when I go home to visit.

Do you know how to set this up so it works in the UK?
because my sim card does not work here. Do I set it up with Orange, or do I set it up with Tunisiana

Prepaid SIM cards, which and where ?
Hello all
Could you give me any tips on what would be reasonable-priced prepaid mobile carrier in tunisia and where is the best place to buy prepaid sim cards in sousse ?
I found an old topic loosely regarding that matter
( Charging your mobile etc. in Tunisia ) but no further information was given
From what I've found so far there are two major mobile operators, Tunisie Telecom and Orascom Telecom Tunisie (TUNISIANA). Which is better ?
Any tips on what to look for and what to be aware of ? Do you simply go and buy a sim card or do they want you to provide some papers (like passport?) ?
Thanks in advance!

Kez...
Is your phone (uk) un-blocked? If not you can pay £10 to have it unblocked here and it will be available to any network sim you put in your phone. I paid to have mine done in tunisia, when i was there, and my tunisian sim works here. Although im not sure how you go about putting credit on it.

I think I have. I don't know how much though. I'm not sure how to check.
