I am going this Friday, I have booked a car from PRESTIGE RENT A CAR for 8 days for 400 Dinars that's about £180. I now this firm very well, the rep will bring the car to wherever you are. If you going to Tunis Airport you can call YASINE on 00216 99 405541. If you are going to Monastir Airport, you can call RZOOGA on 00216 98 405541. Hope this helps

Default Car Rental

When I am in Hammamet my husband always rents a car very cheaply for about 180 dinar for 3 days. Mind you it is from a local small rental firm and my husband is Tunisian. I will find out the name of the rental firm for you

Me and my husband also rented a car from a local firm in Hammamet, only for 50 dinars/day. But it was not possible to add on an insurance in case something would happen to the car. And one time someone bumped in to the car during the night when the car was parked at the street. It got quite expensive. And due to that we never managed to get the correct papers from the company we rented the car from we never could have the money back from my insurance company in Sweden. So I would be a bit careful renting cars from small local firms, in case something happens it can be very expensive.
