WORLD CUP MATCHES

Can you tell me if we will be able to view the world cup matches OK when we are in Tunisia in June/July..... will they be widely televised in the hotels?.

Now that is a good question as i am there also during some of the world cup.

You will defiantely see the Tunisian matches on TV7 tunis and i have yet to stay in a hotel which didn 't have this.

A great deal depends on the hotel in which you are staying and I would think that logistically the hotel is going to have to have sky/eurosport and then you have the issue of the matches that they choose when they have Tunisians, french and germans and Italians in the hotel. I am sure that given England are a big team we will be on all the time.

Unfortunately I cannot say if the hotel in which you choose will have the England matches playing fortunately Hajer has Eurosport/French and German TV and if they dont show the England football then i am off to Tunis or Hammamet/Sousee where they have British theme pubs who i am sure will not miss a trick.

Hi there,

There's 2 kind of TV7 channels in Tunisia ... there's a satelite channel ... and i think that's the one you have in all the hotels .. and there's a internal TV7, not satelite you can recieve it with a normal Antenna, and i think that Tunisia will show all the matchs in the internal TV7, because to show it in TV7 Satelite i think it costs them money ... but i think it won't be a problem to watch the internal TV7 because you can just go to a caffe or a barand there you can have a drink and watch the match

were stayin in the sahara beach so i have emailed them to see wat coverage they have.

i emailed sahara beach yesterday they replied this morn n said they will b showing the games so i assume most will do
