Also can you take anything you want in the back of ther car? Or will it all be checked by the duan in Tunis?

Thanks in advance
In my experience the Doune are only interested if you are bringing in televisions or satalite receivers, I have been several times and have never had a problem

Hi all,

Can anyone advise if a Tunisian visiting in UK can take a car back to Tunisia and keep it there on a long term basis? My husband wants to buy an english car and when he returns to Tunisia he wants to take it back with him.

Any advise will be appreciated. Thank you

you pay for the car and the accomodation whether you have a cabin, pulman seat or deck place. check out www.grimaldi.com for more info. You can also look at Grande Navi Velocy or snf.
