tipping

Hi everyone, I have found this forum very useful, as I am going to Mahdia in Tunisia on Sunday.
One thing I'm not sure on is how much to tip staff. I have read that they expect to be tipped for almost anything in the Hotels and you won't get much service if you don't.
I have read that it should be around 10% but we're going all inclusive, so that's not much use to me.
Also, is it likely to be at least mild this time of year? keep reading that it's going to be cold on reviews but the forecast is around 18/19 degrees.

I have found it depends on the staff. Even in all inclusive i tend to tip the bar staff / waiters. In the restaurant i tend to also leave the waiter for our table a tip at the end of the holiday. A tip for the maid at the end of the week. To be honest 10 dinars may be alot to some of the hotel staff and its not even a fiver for us.

It's nice to give a tip to gentle annd very accomodating staff. Others are just a bunch of guys who waits for the tip
