Hi rmj
In have never have never stayed in mahdia but have visited there its nice you will enjoy it.I would think that all the food will be hallal so wouldnt think there will be a problem there.I have just spoke to my sister in law and she says the weather is nice in the day but goes cold at night so take some warm things with you.Eating out in tunisia is not expensive and also lots of places for snacks.regards sb123
