Default Train Travel

Hello all,

I'm wondering about how safe it is to travel on night trains, particularly for a single female traveller.
Also, does anyone know the difference between 2nd, 1st and Confort classe? Would it be any safer to pay the extra for confort?

Many thanks

I can't comment on the safety on trains at night.
The difference in classes: Grand confort with wide reclining seats, airco and carpet floor; 1st class usually airco and comfortable seats; 2nd class usually airco and more narrow seats.
Price exemple from Tunis to Sousse (single fare) just under 7, just over 9 and under 10 Dinar for Grand, 1st and 2nd to Tozeur it's under 18, under 24 and under 26.

I have been on trains at night but not alone? However, from what I saw...no problems...all seemed so respectful of "sensible" women? Can't comment on comfort. I think....you will be treated "well" generally, as a woman, sensitive and moral being? Just my opinion and what I observed.

xxxx

ps....welcome!
