Default tunis - douz

Can anybody tell me the most practical way to travel from Tunis to Douz (and back again)? I love transportation by train, but I don't know if that's an option?

I'm not sure but driving is probably the best idea and you will see some of the country.

Default Hi

Hi,

The practical way would be via airplane, you can get to Douz by flying into Tozeur or Djerba. If you travel by car / louage / coach, its approximately 9 hours to get there, you will definately take the more scenic route but its a hefty journey. Train is also available to get there.

Default night?

Would that be expensive by plane? I already saw the landscape when I did a tour through the country. 9 hours would be okay if it was by night so I could sleep during the travel, are there trains or busses that leave in the evening?
