Can anyone advise if the Hammamet Percussion Festival is on again in 2006 as we were over there in 2005 at the time it was on and I wouldn't like to miss it if it's on again?
Like you, I cant find anything on the web yet- it may be too early. We were just down the coast from the Festival last year so no photos but we certainly heard it, especially the French Samba Group - Batook. There are a few photos posted on their website for you to see.

having not heard anything about this festival before can you give us some more information and maybe some links to further information. That way I will see if I can use it to find out some more information for you and also as this forum is visited by many new visitors to Tunisia it may encourage some more folks to visit this festival.
Also some images would be great if you have some from the last time that you went.
The two sites that I have seen with references to previous percussion festivals at Yasmine are "scooporganisation" and "tunisie7arts". Links after that will take you to similar sites.
