Hi Tatero3,

The casino is really nice but two things to remember, one is you need your passport as ID and number two they only exept foreign currency they do not take Tunisian dinar, so make sure that you don't change all your money at once, otherwise if you only have TND then you will not be able to go to the casino.

I only changed some of my money when I first got there to India. I saved the rest of the money for later. I took American Express money and had no problems changing it. Here in Las Vegas, NV you can drink for free if you gamble somewhere.

Thank you for the information and the tips. I am going to see what I can find on it. I am glad you mentioned that the hotels won't be all that helpful because I would have probably asked them.

Default Hi

Hi Tater,

As well as the medina and carthage land which has the water theme park and lots of restaurants and things to do - its great fun to walk around and in the summer months there is often a show upstairs where all the restuarants are, we often take my parents there to visit 'Carthage Land' and its really nice to walk around, you cant really miss it if you are going into Hammamet Yasmine as the entrance has lots of massive elephant statues!

Also opposite the medina - 'Carthage Land' there is the new inflatable park for children, this was opened by an English woman Jenny and she has a website - http://www.bouncytune.com it is so much fun for those that have children, when we walk past there I am so jealous, I want to play!!! you can see more pictures and things on the no marmite website - http://www.nomarmiteintunisia.co.uk/...essouthere.htm

xxx

Hi Kelly ,

Hope that you are in good health ! Do you know what i love in the summer whilst in hammamet yasmine, going for a ride on the tuktuks, but the best tuktuk was from sousse all the way to Nabeul, it was great fun with the kids they loved it.
Every time i show someone a picture of the elephants, they actually ask if they are real.
Lila beya not to sure on the spelling anyway its really beautiful.
