Default Hammamet Yasmin

Hi all.
Iwill be travelling to Tunisia mid-July. Are there coach transfers from Tunis Airport to Hammamet Yasmin? I will be arriving at around 10pm and I want a smooth transfer.
I checked out [link=http://www.hoteltransfer.com]www.hoteltransfer.com[/link]but Iwas told that they only cater for arrivals for flights originating from UK ariports. Their prices are about Stg3 per person inteh coaches. That is really good value.

Are there any buses from Tunis Airport to Hammamet Yasmin?

I will also be visiting Carthageland and the Acquapalace. What are the entry prices for the Aquapalace? I visited the website and found nothing relating to prices. I also sent them an email but I didnot get a response.

I will be staying at the Melia Flora Hotel. It seems like a very pleasant hotel and the prices are very good.

I heard this week that there is alot of construction work going on in Hammamet Yasmin. Is this the case? Is there alot to see there? Are the evenings pleasant?

Where else can I visit? What are the distances to other sights to visit?

Thanks,

Claud

I am sure there are some coaches but I do not know specifically I hope that somone here does know, most visitors to Hammamet fly into monastir as the Carthage airport is a good 60km from the airport. It may be a good itea to speak with your hotel as they may run a transfer/minibus.

As for the cost of entry to the parks I doubt they would be more than a 15 dinars (last time I went to Cartageland) but a few of the folks will be able to tell you the exact price on the forum.

As for the construction work I was in Hammamet end of March and everything seemed in order but I was at the Marina side of the resort in the Taj Sultan. There will always be some form of work in a fast growing reort but the seafront and the prominade where fine.

There are loads of things to do and usually the hotesl run a lot of tours please check out the Travel guide section of the main website for a map and some guide to places around Hammamet. I would definately go to the desert if possible and El Jem Dougga if possible.

Thanks Kris.

Carthageland is in fact around 15Dinars. I was wondering about the Aquapalace.

I am coming in to Tunis Carthage Airport since flights from Malta ( I am maltese) only arrive there.

I am also hoping to buy some ceramics. I must admit that I am really looking forward to this holiday!

Is there anyone who knows if there are train connections between Tunis and Hammamet?
If someone knows of connection times and prices I would really appreciate it.

What I need to know istimings and approximate cost from Tunis to Hammamet by train.

Thanks for your help. I am finding it hard to find official schedules for trains.

Claud

i'm not sure about the train .... if it stops somewhere in Hammamet ... and also it depends where you will be in Hammamet ?

But i know for sure that there won't be any problem to move from Tunis to Hammament .. .there are those White and Red Taxi's (Louage) with a couple of dinars ... it can never be more than 10 dinars per person ...

Cheers
Makrem

I am arriving Tunis airport tomorrow 26th jan, and travelling to Hammamet Jasmin. I have booked a shuttle bus, cost £12.53, with A2Btransfers.com but don't know if they only deal with flights from UK.
Worth a try.

Hi Mabs123, Next time try www.medhotels.com then transfers - they are so cheap and very reliable - only £5.05 from Tunis to Sousse so price to Yasmine will be less.
