Hi All I have decided to upadate and make sticky the forum rules since I do not want people to feel insulted/picked on in the future.

I notice that the upgraded forum has updated my old l signup rules so this is the page where we update the rules.

Forum Mandate: To act as a forum for vistors to ask questions and get assistance/information about Tunisia. This is a positive forum to help and educate and to assist visitors and expats.

General Rules

* While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters. This also includeds naming individuals/businesses and making allegations 'naming and shaming'.

* Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.

* We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate tunisia.com community standards. The tunisia.com team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

* Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

* While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about other websites, we will not tolerate blatant adverts.

* We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

* If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.

* Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

* Private messages should be considered to be confidential information. private messages posted in the forums will be deleted.

* We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules.

Advertising Services and Solicitation

We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited.

If you are a business you need to ask permission if posting for professional reasons and we may allow signature adverts.

recommendations from new members will result in immediate spam bans if further information is not given within 48 hours

Moderation

Although the administrators and moderators of Tunisia.com Community Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Tunisia.com Community Forum, nor Tunisia.com. will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are/or about subjects that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, political, about terrorism/terrorism acts, xenophobic, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

The owners of Tunisia.com Community Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Moderator Disputes

Any disputes with the Moderators of the Tunisia.com Community Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System.
