Default Vincci Port-el-kantaoui

I stayed in this hotel for a week in June, i had lovely service and the brekfast wasnt that bad either i normally dont like Tunisian brekfast but this was lovely.

The entertainment is something not to miss! Very funny. Me and my Tunisian fiance got treated like king and queen. Maybe because they know him and dont want to upset him but it was a lovely hotel and for 1 week bed and brekfast with a double room very spacious was only £120 for the end of June beginning of July so i think that is quiet good!

Red face Hi

Hi Rachael,

Well excellent, sounds like you had a much better time than we did, we stayed there for New Years just for that evening and paid for the New Years party that was absolutely awful, and very very expensive, the swimming pool was on the roof and so small! though the room was clean and nice. But we waited 4 hours for our dinner at the gala dinner and missed all the entertainment etc, we were still waiting for our cold bit of fish at 2.00 am lol it was a nightmare and a New Year to remember!! i think the problem is when you plan things too much and expect the best it doesnt always happen! though ill still never forget my parents face as it hit New Year

There's recent videofootage of a maid thieving from one of the rooms in the Vincii on Youtube, looking through drawers, clothes etc. - mind you, I think this is unfortunately something people need to be a bit alert to in most hotels in Tunisia. I would always advocate locking jewellery etc. away in a safe.

Yes, as it would indeed be wise to do in any hotel you visit. It is never a good idea to leave valuables out in the open.

It happens anywhere, not just Tunisia. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in London and lost stuff.
