Hi Mike! There are loads of great places to visit...i would suggest doing the 2 day Sahara trip, you get to go all over tunisia....also if you can get to Madhia i would try..its a beautiful place, but about 1 and half hours south form PEK. Weather wise you shouold be fine, it willbe quite hot then, sometimes i found it gets quite chilly in the evenings, so take a light woolie and you will be fine!

Hope that you have a fab time!

Nic

I agree that a trip around the Sahara would be wonderful. I'm surprised to hear about the chilliness at night, though... I would have expected heat most of the time. I'll have to remember this, too!

I would rather love to check out the Sahara trip. I read somewhere that the apt time to visit Sahara is September to May, is it so?? I never heard that it is really chilly during night, still it is fine weather in my view, at least it won't be like the worst snow right....haha.

Hi,

I too would love to do the Sahara trip but when I was there last year I virtually ran out of days. I had so many places I wanted to visit & actually saved a day for this particular trip but unfortunately I was told that it was best to do this trip in 2 days as opposed to 1, so this is definitely the first thing on my to do list when I return!! I have heard that the Sahara trip is best done between March & October because outwith these months it can become windy & have some occasional heavy rain. The weather in May & June is beautiful, not too hot, just perfect to walk around & see the sites.

jools.
