Just discovered this website and forum and had to register immediately! I lived for four years in Tunisia and although English I am truly homesick for the country! I still have many Tunisian friends in Tunisia that I contact regularly, but I would love to have some closer. I live in West Norfolk - between Ely and King's Lynn so if there is anyone out there please send me a message.
Thanks for the quick reply and it is good to know that there is a Tunisian nearby - even if only some of the time. Do you know if there are many other Tun isians around in Norfolk?
I don't think so though there are plenty of algerians and a few morrocans and lebanease. I know there are a few in London but not as many as you might think.
I know (as thats how I met Hajer) the each year the Nile language school has a visiting number of Tunisians from Hajers old university in Manuba.

I know Manouba quite well since I taught at the University of Tunis (Bourguiba School) in Cite El Khadra. I went to MAnouba a few times to visit other lecturers and to visit relatives of friends I had. Quite a few of my friends in Djerba had relatives at MAnouba University. I also know Bizerte - though not well. Pretty place though.
