Hi Bigbrother,

How are you ? just looked at your gateway to arabic , but if i was to learn to speak the way that things are in the book, correct arabic i would be unable to understand or speak the street arabic that i learnt in the village, and besides i like to know what people are saying in the village, so i think that i will skip that one.
Now if you know of any arabic dancing lesson, then what i would say to you is "Yes please" as thats aways a hit with me anyway.

Roulla, I'd like to learn street Tunisian dialect, but that's not what they teach you in class, its Modern Standard Arabic - my hubby understood what I was trying to say, but then was trying to teach me what they would say on the streets, Wallah my God! I love that saying! Lol.

Roulla will reply under a separate post about the belly dancing - for me it’s between belly dancing or salsa, like ceroc too, hmmmm decisions, decisions.

Sousseannika, check out other links under Languages - Learning Arabic or

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunisian_Arabic

Toonssia see you soon.

Default Hi

Hi,

If anyone is interested in learning the Tunisian dialect and wants to do a course for it:

http://www.net-langues.com/

They are offering a 'free online course of Tunisian dialect' I havent actually contacted them about their free online course as it's another thing on my list of 'to do's' so can not say what it is like etc but if anyone is interested then just check out the link above.

Take care
