Default Famous Tunisian Films

I have seen a number of Tunisian films and the ones i have seen often shock english people when i show them as they expect Tunisia to be more like Saudi which makes me laugh out loud???

Here are a few that i have seen

Satin Rouge

Bored widow becomes a belly dancer in a ropey club after following her daughter ?

A summer in La Goullette

Coming of age film where three girls from Jewish, Christian and a Muslim families try and lose their virginities one summer.

Halfouine

Another coming of age film about a young boy in Tunis.

Yes theose are good movies .... also i would like to mention , Bnet Familia ( Familie's Girls ), Bazness, Assfour Stah (The wall's bird ), Samit il koussour (Silence of the Palace ) and more and more, most of those movies are social, let's say a Tunisian drama coming from the real daily life of the tunisian people ... i always enjoyed watching Tunisian movies ... and also series ...

I might have a look for some of those films in the world cinema section of some shops, would be interesting to see them, and see how they differ.
