Hi, I am currently looking for any type of work on Djerba. My boyfriend lives there and we have our own accomodation. I just need to find a job so I can stay there with him.

Hi i have been working in Tunisia for nearly 2 years Normally the rule of the land is if there is work to be done it has to be done by a tunisian, There are exceptions if you are married which you would need to check.
The only other way to get work out there would be to become a holiday rep .
Thomas cook and first choice both work in derjba this is new for winter 06 summer o7. You would need to Here are there tel numbers good luck

If any thing there would probably be looking for transfer reps to the airport but be warned the pay will be poor .and unsociable hours
First choice 0021673817236
Reps job is hard but good fun with an average wage of 600 pounds per month plus health insurance flights and accomodation if needed.

I find this quite interesting. Is this a way to keep "outsiders" from settling
there? If someone wanting to move to Tunisia can't find a job, it's a way
to keep the population local and not welcome people from other countries
to move and live there?
