Thumbs up jet set cafe

I highly recommend JET SET CAFE in La Marsa. It is owned and run by a wonderful family. There is a gret vibe, you can have a coffee and watch T.V downstairs while people watching or you can stroll upstairs for a more formal sit down meal. The staff is wonderful and inviting.

This sounds very tempting indeed. The best restaurant is one that's recommended by someone else who had an enjoyable visit. I was wondering if it was in the open air outside?

Hi. My favourites are L'Escargot & The Lido (for fish) in Sousse, Misk Ellil in PEK, and if you are a fish lover, Le Pirate in Monastir is a must!

Had a wonderful New Year's Eve meal in L'escargot, Sousse. Most people arrived around 9.30-10pm and the menu cost 65 dinars per person. Menu was 5 course plus all the extra bits & pieces beforehand. A Tunisian band kept everyone entertained before and after 'the bells'. Great food and service was faultless!

It sounds a marvelous New Year! The 5 star service is something so nice to experience. It's been a few years since I went to a restaurant on the beach. Our meal was $50 and we both had seared salmon. There was music but not a live band. You were looking at the beach, and hearing the crashing of the waves.

Hi there, Also had a lovely meal in Restaurant Le Berbere in Hammamet the other week. the have a large terrace upstairs which is a bit of a suntrap at the front. It's right in the centre, not far from the beach overlooking the little square next to the Medina. Worth a try if you visit, I'd highly recommend it!

In Sousse I highly recommend El Ons located opposite of Riad Palms Hotel and for fish I agree with Essem - it´s Lido, no doubt about it and located in the harbour. Tunis - looking for atmosphere, ancienne, arabic? Well, Dar Bel Hadj is the one. Bon apétit!

Default recommendation of restaurant

If you are going to Port El Kantaoui then i recommend going to Sultana..very friendly staff-who are not pushy to get you to eat there. Food is gorgeous & reasonably priced
