You wont find many nightclubs in Bizerte like you will find in Sousee or hammamet however you will defiantely have a more authentic experience as in the summer you will find yourself out and about with many Tunisians as well as tourists.

In terms of nightclubs I will post back in a short while as the main clubs in Bizerte open during the summer months early so i will get names and directions for you.

When you talk of a nightclub are you looking for drinking and dancing? We have lots of clubs near Chesapeake Bay looking over the water. I think that a restaurant or club near the water is nice. I love the water !!

Are there many places where you can go to dance here? And till what times?

We have clubs here that open at 6:00 p.m. and stay open until 3:00 a.m. The hours are usually similar in each club you go. Some have more to offer when you go there. Like a ladies night when they get in free.

Hi all, We go up to Bizerte often as we have family in Menzel Bourgibba. We stay in the Bizerta Resort, a fantastic 4* hotel situated right on the beach. It's one of my favourite places in Tunisia.

Essem, you must tell me about the 4 star service there. That sounds so nice! I would love to be going out to a place with such wonderful service.

We just wouldn't stay anywhere else there. Last time we were at a family wedding in the halls just a few doors along from the hotel so it was really convenient. The beach is wide, stretches for miles and I found it to be very clean. The food and service were faultless and the staff always remember us (I think that is a Tunisian thing though!) and nothing was any trouble. If you manage a visit ask for a room with sea view - it's magnificent!

Me and Hajer had our wedding reception there.

Residence Nour is also nice and brand new.

Hi Kris, Next time I'm up there will take a look at Residence Nour - always interested in new places to stay. My home is at Menchia beach in H Sousse but very often nip away for the weekends or visit friends & family just for a change.

That must be wonderful to visit friends on the weekends. You must be a great friend to have Essem. I sure love to hear about your travels there.

Hi John and welcome to the forum, hope that you enjoy it like we all do! John I understand what you are saying but have you never heard of people getting ripped on here in the UK as well? I tell you a story that may shock you, a number of years ago a friend of mine bought a flat off someone here in the UK, they just shook hands and done a deal, few years later the council took this person to court as he did not have any legal papers for his deal and the man that sold it to him left the country giving this man the keys for the flat that belonged to the council,,So what I am trying to say is that it can happen anywhere although it does happen quite a lot abroad but I don't think that it is funny for one minute, but then again it is my opinion.
