Default I recommend you to see the whole Tunisia

Dear All,

When i started thinking to write this post ... i had a hesitance because i really can't recommend you to visit a place in Tunisia and not others ... simply because in Tunisia each city has its own peculiarities and characteristics ... every place you visit in Tunisia would be a new experience a new world to discover but please keep in mind that Tunisia it's one country and one people with one mother language and one Culture but within all this every city in Tunisia has specifications that you may see in other cities and not ...

But at least make sure in you stay in Tunisia to visit : Tunis, Carthage, Sidi BouSaid, Kairouan, Sousse and the desert... i always believe that the best time to visit Tunisia is from March to November ... the weather in this period is beautiful and lovely ... so you can do more and move more

The summer in Tunisia is beautiful ... a bit too hot ... but the nights in the summer .. the life is different .. Disco's, caffees, bars, resturants ... and a lot a lot to see and to do ... the night in Tunisia is as safe as the day ... i do believe the Tunisian goverment does everything to give the best impression to her guests and to make their stay in Tunisia as comfortable and cosy as possible ... but also i do believe that the Tunisian people reached a high level of consciousness to make him one of the most civilized people in Africa and the Arabic world ...

traveling in Tunisia is easy and simple ... you can make use of a lot of kind of means of transportation: Louage, Taxi, Bus, Train, Tram, Metreo, internal flights ... so just go and try and never ever be scared forany reason ... be sure that 99% of the Tunisian people are hospitable and a very cheering people ... they will always help you and assist you to understand things and mostly they love to "teach" others about their culture and their life ... it's a huge pleasure for them to share their thoughts with others .. they like to communicate and to share because they care about the others ...

I hope everybody who visits Tunisia can see how amazing that country is and how beautiful it's ... i'm looking forward to move back for good to live in Tunisia ... i'm in Europe trying to gain experience and to learn and to make some money as soon as i achieve my goals i'll be the happiest man in the world to go back to that generous, beautiful and nice country ...

Cheers
Makrem

I am coming to Tunisia in March 2007 for 2 weeks, staying in Skanes, we have organised car hire so hopefully we will be able to see a lot in the time we have, however we would like to go to the Sahara for a day trip or something similar I have 2 questions How and Where do you go to organise such a trip and is it a good time of year to go then, as far as the weather is concerned that is.
Thanks
Barry

I haven't been to Tunisia in March, but there are sites like Yahoo and wunderground.com (this site also shows "historical" weather, you can check March several years back) where you can get weather updates. Any hotel can help you arrange trips like that. You can also check www.tunisievoyages.com - click the English button in the top right hand corner if you prefer English to French - where several packages are listed, with prices. I've been to the Sahara twice with them, but those were 2-day trips with a lot of other stops as well. So, I can't speak for the other trips - they have more than advertised here - just e-mail them, or contact your travel agent. Hope you have a lovely trip!

Thanks for the wunderground tip. I'd never seen that site. I like the weather history option.
