Ecological Tours

I know that in Cambodia and Thailand there are tours of the rain forests / jungle for those interested in ecology. Are there similar tours in Tunisia?

I have not tried a tour that's been specifically marketed as ecological, but I am sure you can get in touch with them via their web site and ask more.

I was wondering what the difference is from a normal tour to an ecological tour? Is it when things are done exclusively with no cars or trucks involved? Like using only bicycles with no gasoline.

The "green tour" according to the website, is 8 days in length. There are a number of museum visits, the Ichkeul nature reserve, the port, golf, horseback, diving, wine tasting

, temple, mosque... and I even saw an ostrich farm on the itinerary. That website has some really great tours!

Main thing I would consider is to check out all the cultural related places like mosque or temples or places where cultural things are made. That would really make me more excited rather than diving or wine tasting....
