good to see they are up & running. I enjoyed the music and cafe they have there. o & also the free wifi, although slow sometimes. The service was good & relaxed atmosphere.

the only thing that put me off was when we returned the next day and parked the campervan up, was only there a matter of minutes and there was a knock on the door, asking us to either move or buy something, found this off putting as the car park was empty and it wasnt like we had camp overnight or was causing problems. We did go in a buy a few drinks but didnt return again. I did speak with the waiter and explained it wasnt very good to rush returning paying customers into buying, especially as in tunisia everything is taken/done slowly & I had gone there to relax & take it easy hehe. the guy was really polite & said sorry bless him .

I could see the Hot Air Balloon from my window of my apartment last week.
It might have even sneaked into a couple of my pictures as well

I'm sure Chokri will find something really quickly this time of year. If I remember correctly is was only about 20 mins from the airport - although I was usually in a taxi either coming from or going to the airport with Atef so didn't really notice the time!

Kezza, yeah it doesnt take too long in the taxi. My husband used to pay for the taxi from the airport to PEK so I'm guessing it can't have been too expensive. Was quite a while ago we last taxi'd it so I can't remember exacts.

Hi Kezza, It's only 20/25 mins by car from Sousse to Monastir - not far at all. Did they give him a reason for letting him go? He probably has a good chance of finding something else now in the height of the season than in the winter months. He's a worker so I'm sure it won't be long before he finds something else.
