Among these recommendations was the promotion of ties between the countries in the fields of yachting and cruise lining.

Minister Francis Zammit Dimech and Minister Haddad also discussed joint marketing of the two nations for long haul tourists travelling from China, the United States of America and India through heightened cooperation of tour operators.

During the meeting the Maltese Minister also noted that in the past 40 years the diplomatic relations between Malta and Tunisia gave way to enhanced agreement between the countries’ citizens, reflecting more cooperation in various sectors.
