- The reality and the prospects for commercialization of the thalassotherapy product in the Swiss market, has been a working session held recently in the national office of the Tunisian tourism (ONTT), in the presence of Tunisian Balneotherapy centres and representatives of Swiss travel agencies specializing in this field.
Tunisia is positioned today as the second thalassotherapy destination in the world after France.
Emphasis was placed during this meeting, on the strengths and weaknesses of thalassotherapy centres that contribute to the diversification of the Tunisian tourism product and rehabilitation of its added value .
Actually,One of the main items of the Tunisian tourism agenda 2008, is promoting the balneoterapy product in several markets ;In this regard priority has been given to the Swiss market as well as a meeting with the French travel agencies has been scheduled in April for this purpose.
