I've been trying to understand our family surname for as long as I can remember. There was always some suggestion that our family may have been in Spain before immigrating to Eastern Europe. If you understand the name structure of Djebarovski - ov is gender specific, ski is of or from place or trade. The root of the name is Djebar.
